Robinho Future In Doubt

Robinho, the story of the player that could never live up to the expectations that was born some years ago when the Brazilian signed his first professional contract with Santos in 2002 and his consistent series of performances lured the attention of Real Madrid as they signed him for €24 million at the age of 21.

From there on out everything was a downhill spiral as the Brazilian player didn’t live up to what fans and managers of the club where he was performing in was expecting for a player that Pele once considered being as his successor.

Robinho is currently playing for his childhood club Santos FC on a one year long loan deal and after that contract expires he will be return to Ac.Milan.

Questions begin to emerge concerning the return of Robinho to the Italian side Ac.Milan as he does is not in the near future plans of the ongoing manager Filippo Inzaghi. Inzaghi is starting to build a new Ac.Milan and Robinho plays no part in it.

Even the agent of Robinho, Marisa Ramos remains uncertain about the future of her client when his current deal with Santos reaches its end, it’s like no one is sure about what is going to happen to the player that dazzled the world during the early stages of his career but came crashing down from there on out.

Earlier in the month of August, the representative of Robinho spoke about the current situation that the Brazilian is going through as she went on and said: “It is still too early to talk about Robinho, but technically it is correct that he could return to Milan. Were his loan not to be extended by Santos then he would return to the Rossoneri in 12 months’ time.”

The new coach of Brazil, Dunga recently called up Robinho and placed him into the Brazilian squad that played against Colombia in a friendly match but that was the only appearance that Robinho has made since November 19 as he fallen behind the pecking order of his country with other players being chosen ahead of him on a usual basis.
